The game hides the number of points accumulate during the current hand to simulate a real game of hearts. But it can be enabled via: MainMenu->Start->Customize Rules then Enable “Show Points”
MainMenu->Start->Customize Rules->Advanced Scroll down to “Going Alone” then set it to “After Trump”.
MainMenu->Start Middle of the screen to the left “Difficulity” Modify the slider. A alternative way is to use the “Player configuration” and select new opponents, the more stars they have the harder they are to beat.
MainMenu->Start Top of screen: “Player Conifguration” Press one of the three buttons to modify the player at the given location.
A player may not lead Spades until a Spade has been played to trump another trick. The act of playing the first Spade in a hand is known as “breaking Spades”. This requirement can be disabled. MainMenu->Start->Customize Rules->Advanced->”Breaking spades”
The game uses a common shuffling technique that deals random cards. Unfortunately that also means you get good and bad streaks.
When the dealer’s partner orders the dealer to “pick it up”, the partner must attempt the hand as a loner. It’s enabled for the British rules and disabled for the North American rules by default. MainMenu->Start->Customize Rules->Canadian Loner
